Autoparts from Spain will be present at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) 2026 as part of the Spanish Pavilion organised by SERNAUTO, in collaboration with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) has established itself as Europe’s most relevant trade fair within the automotive supply chain, particularly focused on original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers at all levels. Held biennially in Wolfsburg, home of the Volkswagen Group and a strategic hub of the German automotive industry, IZB was founded in 2001 as an event initially aimed at supplier sourcing for Volkswagen.
Over the years, the fair has evolved into a key meeting point for vehicle manufacturers, global suppliers and specialised players across the entire automotive value chain, fostering knowledge exchange, business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
At its most recent edition, IZB 2024, the event brought together 843 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and welcomed nearly 40,000 professional visitors, reinforcing its international character and its role as a platform for showcasing innovations, technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of mobility and automotive manufacturing.
Within the European Union, Germany is the leading automotive industrial powerhouse, ranking first in vehicle production in the eurozone and among the top global manufacturers. German carmakers produce more than 3 million passenger vehicles annually, highlighting the scale and dynamism of the country’s automotive industry.
The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) represents a strategic opportunity for Spanish companies, providing access to a high-level network of contacts including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and international partners, as well as insights into key trends such as electrification, digitalisation, new powertrain architectures and advanced mobility solutions.
