International trade fairs 2026: Autoparts From Spain’s roadmap to strengthen its global projection

Internationalisation will continue to be one of the key strategic pillars of the Spanish automotive components industry in 2026, a year shaped by technological transformation, electrification, sustainability and the reconfiguration of supply chains. In this context, participation in leading international trade fairs is firmly established as a crucial tool to boost competitiveness and visibility for Spanish suppliers.

Autoparts From Spain, the platform representing Spanish automotive suppliers that are leaders in the manufacture and export of components made in Spain, will roll out an ambitious trade fair agenda in 2026 across strategic markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. This programme is designed to generate business opportunities, strengthen commercial relationships and consolidate the positioning of Spanish suppliers in the world’s main automotive markets.

“Participation in international trade fairs remains an essential lever for Spanish companies to enhance their visibility, reach new customers and consolidate their position in key automotive markets,” says Mª Begoña Llamazares, Markets Manager at SERNAUTO and spokesperson for Autoparts From Spain.

Germany and Europe: consolidation in key strategic markets

Europe will remain one of the main commercial destinations for Spanish automotive component suppliers in 2026, with Germany as the central hub of industrial and technological activity in the sector. For this reason, Autoparts From Spain aims to strengthen its presence at two of the most relevant trade fairs on the European calendar.

The first major event will be Automechanika Frankfurt (8–12 September 2026), considered the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket. This event brings together manufacturers, distributors, workshops and service providers from around the globe, becoming a key showcase for spare parts, maintenance, repair, digitalisation and future mobility solutions. The joint participation of Spanish companies will help enhance their international visibility and highlight their technological, industrial and innovation capabilities.

Alongside Frankfurt, Autoparts From Spain will also be present at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB), to be held from 27 to 29 October 2026. IZB is a benchmark event for the automotive supply chain, particularly focused on tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers and OEM manufacturers. Its highly specialised approach makes it a strategic environment for showcasing advanced solutions, building long-term commercial relationships and accessing new international projects.

Both trade fairs reinforce Autoparts From Spain’s commitment to mature European markets, where proximity to decision-making centres and the ability to adapt to the most demanding standards are key factors for competitiveness.

Turkey and the Middle East: access to high-growth industrial markets

In addition to consolidating its presence in Europe, Autoparts From Spain will continue to focus on regions with strong growth potential and a strategic role as commercial and logistics hubs.

In 2026, participation in Automechanika Istanbul (19–22 May 2026) will allow Spanish companies to access a key market connecting Europe with Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Middle East. This trade fair has established itself as a leading platform for the aftermarket and component industry in the region, offering opportunities both in the local market and across its wide area of influence.

Meanwhile, Automechanika Dubai (10–12 November 2026) will remain a strategic event to strengthen presence in the Middle East. Dubai acts as a major hub for international trade, providing access to markets in the Gulf, North Africa and South Asia. Participation in this trade fair enables Spanish suppliers to position themselves in a region with growing demand for high-quality components, innovative solutions and reliable industrial partners.

Asia: positioning in the markets of the future with Automechanika Shanghai

Autoparts From Spain’s international strategy for 2026 is completed with its presence in Asia, a key region for the future growth of the automotive sector. In this regard, participation in Automechanika Shanghai (2–5 December 2026) is essential.

Considered one of the most important automotive trade fairs worldwide, Automechanika Shanghai is a privileged gateway to Southeast Asian and Oceanian markets. Its international scale and strong focus on innovation, electrification and digitalisation make it an ideal environment for Spanish suppliers to showcase their industrial and technological capabilities and to establish commercial relationships in high-potential markets.

Through this trade fair agenda, Autoparts From Spain not only promotes physical presence at international events, but also strengthens a comprehensive positioning strategy that combines visibility, business opportunity generation and support for the internationalisation of the sector.
